MY FAVS......shit...how'd THAT get in there?
You know what I really "hate".....that full-on Connie seat.I mean...geez...on everyone else's bike...it looks really good...appropriate.When I've tried to ride around with my "before modded" Connie seat(s)...it just looked so..."clunky" on there.Yours looks great.Couldn't seem to get used to the "no cowl" look.IDK.Just seemed(on mine) something was missing...like it lost it's streamline or something.Weird.

lol, you crack me up, Blue.
When I have the bags on -that seat kinda disappears, but I think a lot of it is just what you're used to seeing. When I first pulled the seat out of the box I was a little concerned about the appearance and it sat on a shelf for a couple weeks before I decided to use it. Now, I would never put anything else on. I'm entertaining getting it reupholstered for the bike, but I have to find the right person to do it, and then again I'm trying not to make any one part of the bike too custom because I plan to repaint it many different ways over the years. Maybe an all black cover might be nice though.
Which brings me to powder coating the frame black eventually. I like the dynamic of red and black, but I love blue and someday I will want to include blue in a new paint job which won't work with that burgundy frame. I just have to get a real slow winter where I could completely break down the bike and then paint it the next winter. We'll see.
